Many alarm transmitters and older security systems are still analogue. For quite some time, the use of modern digital DSL and IP networks has been the standard for alarm transmission. An Alarm IP converter converts the analogue signals into IP-compatible digital signals.

Choice of the right conversion equipment
ASB offers four IP-Conversion solutions (IPCs) that you can choose from, based on your preferences and security requirements from the authorities and insurance companies: IPC-Easy, IPC-Comfort, IPC-GPRS and IPC-XL.
Technical product overview of IP-Converters:
Testing
With all Alarm IP converters, an elaborate test must be done by the control room(s) during installation. This is necessary to be able to check and guarantee the proper functioning of the required category of alarm transmission.
Wide range of use
The ASB Alarm IP-Converters adapt analogue signals for transmission through IP networks; they can be used with most security systems; and they automatically detect the available protocols (X)SIA and CID.
Autonomous power supply
Alarm IP converters are usually powered from the (existing) alarm panel. If the router in your risk category must be equipped by an emergency power unit, IPC-GPRS is the best solution. This IP converter has an autonomous power supply, which makes an emergency power unit superfluous.
Up-/downloading
For up-/downloading of different alarm systems we offer an Up-/Download Converter (UDC) solution.
SMS function
Our B-Notified SMS service allows for alarm notifications via SMS.
