The very centre for security and alarm is the control room, that watches over all connected risk-objects. There may be ten thousand of them, and that is quite a responsibility. ASB delivers reliable control room equipment and software, with near-limitless possibilities.
Security Control Software (SCS)
The ASB software concept for complete control room computerization is called SCS. This specialist concept is used in private emergency rooms (PACs), company emergency rooms (BACs) amd regional emergency rooms (RACs). With the SCS software, control rooms can offer services that are performed fully automatically.
End-to-end, 24/7 support
The computerization solution by ASB is a complete process, from consultation to delivery, installation, operation, support and training. The equipment and software are of the highest quality, and they meet the highest (European) security guidelines and legislation.
The ASB management centre is located in the Netherlands, and it continuously monitors the technical availability of your systems. If there are calamities, action is taken at an early stage, and the continuity of your control room computerization is guaranteed.
The advantages of our solution:
Available software modules
The SCS concept consists of a number of integrated modules, that are completely scalable, and that can applied according to your wishes:
FEP | In the front-end processor (FEP) of the system, all signals are uniformly registered and processed, without loss of their original format. SCS-FEP also takes care of all time-related tasks, such as monitoring repair and anullment-reports, delayed reports, monitoring periodical test reports, run-away detection, and the monitoring of all SCS modules. |
Client | This is the user interface for the control room operator. from his ‘digital wirk place’, the operator initiates actions in response to the incoming reports, incoming and outgoing telephone calls, and the other common duties of a control room. |
Reporter | With the report module, autonomous and automatic reports are generated, files are exported, and fax or e-mail messages are sent. SCS-Reporter provides clients, installation companies, colleagues, and the management periodically with pre-defined information, both in text format and in extensive an clear graphic representations. The reports can be personalized for each (group of) clients, installation company, or segment with your own logo and layout. |
Gateway | SCS-Gateway provides the fax and e-mail traffic. It also links to all the systems that communicate through the ‘unsafe internet’. |
Stats | Presents live statistics and statusses of the SCS system. These statistics can be response times of control room operators, the occupation degree of the recipients, and the performance criteria that the control room must meet. At a single glance, the status of all essential functions of the control room is vsible. |
Video | This module offers complete video integration with alert processing. The alert messages that are linked to the SCS system, are automatically linked to the related video footage. If there is an alert report, one can simply watch live video footage, but one can also check the related footage from the video archive. All actions that the operator initiates, such as start of action, camera selection, history check, are fully logged. This guarantees a complete dossier, including video footage and time line. |
Voice | The voice module makes it possible to do standard jobs through a telephone connection. The module comes in different versions, amongst which: > Incoming calls, in which the user can give commands through the telehone, such as adapting working hours, reporting extra hours, reporting alert transmissions, and looking through alert messages. > Outbound calls , in which the SCS-Voice completely autonomously takes over tasks with low priority from the control room operator. |
Web | Just as SCS Voice did, SCS Web provides access through the internet. SCS-Web was developed for clients and installation companies, and its goal is to combine client-specific and historical data. End-users can simply check their data at given time. Installation companies can test systems 24 hours a day, check client data and receive reports in real time (without contacting the control room operator). This contributes to a more efficient management for all those involved. |
